It's not perfect, but It's nice

My room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting me with extra pillows. The location was convenient, equipped with ample parking. It served its purpose as a cozy overnight stop despite some noise from neighboring rooms.

i booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, climate control, multi-channel tv and a microwave. private bathroom. the location was great and perfect for me, on lansdowne street a short drive to everything.

comfortable stay , but needs maintenance

The room was clean and well-designed. The bathroom amenities were adequate and functioning well. I remember my first stay years ago when everything felt fresh and new, and while this visit didn't meet that standard, it still had its charm.

There were noticeable maintenance issues in the common areas that detracted from the overall experience.

Tv is up too high, stopper in sink is adjusted too low so water doesn't flow out properly

Staff and location were good, I loved every detail. The staff was accommodating, some of them especially. The bed was comfortable and it was great having a microwave, air conditioning and multi-channel TV. Marvellous location near downtown, Farmers Market, Canoe Museum and Sports Hall of Fame, Canada, I felt safe.

Good location and clean rooms! Cheap and cheerful - exactly what we needed!

Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked when we arrIved as there was a korfball championship in Peterborough that weekend. We had requested a non-smoking room through Booked.net but this was not requested to the hotel. When we arrived the lady at reception realised that we had requested non-smoking but this had not been reserved for us. As the hotel was completely full she was not able to find a non-smoking room for us for that evening, but was able to offer us a room for the following evening. We therefore had to put up with a discusting, smelly, smokers room for one night. We attempted to complain but were told that the fault lay with Booked.net and not wirh the hotel. We booked this hotel over 6 months ago, so were very disappointed that a non-smoking room was not reserved for us!

The staff on the check-in desk was very friendly - process was quick. Hotel was clean - lobby, hallways and my room.

I had requested a non-smoking room but didn't get that. With the air conditioning, it wasn't really bad but still could smell stale smoke.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities on-site, like a game room or playground for playtime.

Motel 6 in Peterborough is beautiful - very very very clean and well kept, very private and quiet, yet pet friendly. Total compliments to the staff at both the front desk and the person who cleanded the room. One of the cleanest rooms that I have ever stayed in overnight. And this is a major accomplishment for a motel to keep such fine premises. The room was also very comfortable in relation to the temperature control of warm and cool, and it responded with quiet immediacy, a very lovely place with just the right measure of ambiance. I will fully recommend Motel 6 to my friends & family, and in my next stay in Peterborough will return with joy and thanks.

The only criticism that I have of the premises, is that it would be nice to have a bed side table on both sides of the bed - I put one of the chairs there to use as a bedside table. And it would be nice to have some upper racks like were the television sits, for luggage up and out of the way. Perhaps the television could just hang on the wall if it was a flat screen and take less of this upper luggage space. Also, it would by nice to have a kettle in the room so water could be heated for tea or coffee. I bring my own teas, but did not have a kettle with me. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Quite location.

I don't recommend it for couples looking for comfort

The beds were actually comfortable, a relief after a long drive. And the staff at the front desk were friendly.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable.

We needed to ask for more pillows.
